LajuCredit provides online personal loans in Malaysia, from RM100 to RM10,000. We operate under the Moneylenders Act 1951 and are supervised by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT).
The company
LajuCredit is a trading name. The licensed lender — and the name that appears on your loan agreement — is Kilat Amanah Sdn Bhd. When you check the licence with KPKT, search for that company name, not "LajuCredit". Trading under a different name is ordinary and lawful, but we state it here so you are not left wondering when you see it.

Compliance
A licensed moneylender in Malaysia must be registered under the Moneylenders Act 1951 and hold a current licence issued by KPKT. Advertising a lending service requires a separate permit. We hold both, and the numbers are shown above and in the footer of every page, alongside our registered office in Kuala Lumpur.
