Official channels

These are our only official accounts. If another account contacts you using the LajuCredit name, it is not from us.

Before you reply to anyone

Scammers frequently use the names of licensed lenders, so check our licence first. We will never ask for:

  • Any upfront payment before the loan reaches your account — charges are deducted from the loan amount or repaid on schedule.
  • Your account password, whether for LajuCredit or your internet banking.
  • An OTP verification code sent to your phone.
  • A transfer to anyone's personal account. We never ask for payment into an individual's account.
  • A copy of your MyKad over a personal messaging app from an unknown number.

Complaints

Send complaints to [email protected] with as much detail as you have. As a licensed moneylender we are also subject to KPKT oversight, and complaints can be made directly to the ministry at kpkt.gov.my.

The licensed entity

LajuCredit is a trading name. The licensed lender — and the name that appears on your loan agreement — is Kilat Amanah Sdn Bhd. When you check the licence with KPKT, search for that company name, not "LajuCredit". Trading under a different name is ordinary and lawful, but we state it here so you are not left wondering when you see it.
